He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Edward and Jimmy Ruth Makin, Jr. (Lee) of Leslie, Michigan.; his grandparents, Kenneth E., Louise M. "Mickey" Makin, Sr. (Cotrell) of Leslie, George S. and Marie D. Lee (Alexander) of Jackson; his parents-in-law, Doren and Betty Howe (Palmer); his brother-in-law Randolph Herbert Howe (Randy); and his sister Cathy Marie Makin.
He is survived by: his son Christopher (Melissa Bartlett) of Dansville; his wife Teresa Makin (Howe); his daughter Brandy Keckler (Chuck) of Dansville; his siblings, Rodger Makin of Leslie and Shelley Makin of Springport; his grandchildren, Trevor Makin, Autumn Makin, Rowan Bartlett, Zylar Bartlett, Austin Keckler and Kenneth "Kenny" Keckler; and his uncles, Stanley Vines, John Vines of Alabama, Tom Lee (Connie) of Grayling and Gene Lee (Sandra) of Tennessee. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephew and friends.
