It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Evelyn Slayton (Leslie, Michigan), born in Jackson, Michigan, who passed away on January 7, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Ed; her sister Pat; and her grandson Aaron A. Gerad. She is survived by: her children, Doug (Rudy), David (Sherry), Cathy (Mike), Bryan (Debbie) and Bruce (Michelle); her sisters, Leah, Nancy and Delores; and her grandchildren, Janine, Stephanie, Michael, Daren, Katie, Brad and Amy.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses would be appreciated.
