She is survived by: her husband Roger Lee Slates; her daughters, Leigh'R Slates of Charleston, SC and Rebecca McCoy of Bath, MI; her grandson Miles McCoy; her siblings, Margie Levy of Spencer, OK, James Slates of Crystal River, FL, Stanley Slates of New Era, MI and Robert; and her sister-in-law Sandra Slates of Southern Shores, NC. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
