He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonzo Klinger and Eva Klinger (Sunderland); his wife Kay Elizabeth Utz; his daughter Linda K. Potter; his grandson Collin; his sisters, Mary, Waunita and Shirley; and his sister-in-law Mary Jo.
He is survived by: his family Bob; his children, Vicki L. Morgan, Patricia A. Malone (Gary), Robert D. Klinger Jr. (Amy), Micheal J. Klinger (Mindy) and Douglas A. Klinger (Barb); his son-in-law Tom Potter; his grandchildren, Nykky (Adam), John Ross (Amy), Keegan (Irena), Devon, Caitlin (Aaron), Denny, Melanie (Brett), Curtis (Shea), Angie, Jennifer, Jamie, Michael, Emily (Ben) and James; and his siblings, Forrest, Harold, Lou (Dianne), Jerry (Bonnie), Norma (Mark) and Kenny. He is also survived by great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
