Howard Alden Smith Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Howard Alden Smith of Leslie, Michigan, born in Eaton Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on March 16, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alden Smith and Geneva Smith (Wake); and his brother Aldi Smith. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Smith (Garred); his daughters, Jaunitta Craddock (Bruce Conant), Terri Cupp (Phil) and Tammie Hyde (Jeff Gilbert); his grandchildren, Josh Bambach (Katie Furgala), Lindsey West, William Craddock (Stephany Gonzalez), Talor Bambach (Josh Mayo) and Charley Gilman (Alli Gates); his great grandchildren, Anthony West and Jaxson Mayo; and his sisters, Gerri Brooks, Suzie Pike (Butch) and Elsie Ehara (George). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post 491 in memory of Howard.
