He was predeceased by: his parents, Winifred Whitman (Winnie) and Leonard Whitman; and his brother Russell Whitman. He is survived by: his stepdaughter Autumn; his stepgrandchildren, Josephine and Marcus; his siblings, Virginia Kotait (Ginny), John, Dennis, Peter and Denise Wood; his wife Sharon; and his son Wesley William Whitman.
In lieu of sending flowers, memorial donations may be given to Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice.
