She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Buie and Rosetta Buie; her siblings, Garfield, John Wesley, Charlie and Marylee Henderson; and her son Winfred "Winnie".
She is survived by: her husband Matthew Black; and her children, Angelina Knox (Lamar), Michael Black of Leslie and Raymond Black (Michelle) of Leslie. She is also survived by five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
