He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Conard and Kathryn C. Short (Salisbury); his wife Evelyn June Short (Caltrider); his son Tom W. Short; his great great grandchild Waylon Short; his sister Lou Belle Short; and his niece Patricia Heath.
He is survived by: his children, Tanga Jo Korte (Roy), Tony J. Short (Nina), Teresa J. Linderman (Bob) and Todd F. Short (Gina); his grandchildren, Rick Stierley (Amber), Scott Stierley (Donna), Kraig Short, Steve Stierley (Kristyn), Rob Stierley (Val), Andy Stierley (Kathy), Nicki Kasmar (Jeff), Danny Short (Megan), Jerad Short (Laura), Teddy Jaquette (Jack), Baylee Nequette, Todd F. Short Jr. (Sam) and Kruiz Short (Natisha); and his brother Randy Short.
