He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Birtles and Francis Birtles (Gunnett); his siblings, Norman (Lucille), Ford (Wilma), Alva (Irene), James (Pat), Dorland, Harold, Dale Birtles and Phyllis Masselink (Elmer); and his sister-in-law Nancy Birtles.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his children, Randall Birtles (Carla), Sandy Stoddard (Jerry) and Kathy Morefield (Tim Miller); his brother Clayton Birtles; and his sister-in-law Sharon Raymond. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
