He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mikolajczyk and Bernice Mikolajczyk (Arndt); his former wife Virginia Tarkir; his brothers, Herman and Joe Mikolajczyk; his sons-in-law, Jim Saxman and Dan Lindsey; and his grandson Joshua.
He is survived by: his wife Nelda Dear of Leonidas; his daughters, Carline Kolcynski (Bob), Linda Saxman, Gloria Stephens (Terry), Sharon Gass, Patricia Rexford (Allen), Donna Cox (Marc), Deborah McAlpine (Gary) and Lisa Overton (Mike); and his stepchildren, Cheryl Beverly (Dan), Ron Dear (Cybil) and Jim Dear (Bridget). He is also survived by many grandchildren, step grandchildren, great grandchildren, and step great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family asks memorial donations to be made to the Factoryville Bible Church or Birches AFC.
