Merle Schmidtendorff Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merle Schmidtendorff (Leonidas, Michigan), who passed away on April 21, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence and Lena; his wife Alta Rose; his daughter Lisa Elaine; his great grandchild Cody Eugene; and his siblings, Donna Lane, Earl, Art and Forest Schmidtendorff.
He is survived by: his sons, Arden Schmidtendorff (Carol) of Leonidas and Alan Schmidtendorff (Colleen) of Leonidas; and his grandchildren, Tami Tyler (Jeremy), Jodi Ferrier (Phillip), Mindi Cline (Ryan), Bridget Van Dam (Corey), Connor Schmidtendorff and Morgan Schmidtendorff. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be directed to Battle Creek Veterans Administration Hospital.
