It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leona L. Truax of Leonidas, Michigan, born in Coldwater, Michigan, who passed away on July 26, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeremiah Mears and Hazel "Lucille" Mears (McLish); her husband Donald Truax Sr.; and her son Robby Truax. She is survived by: her children, Donald Truax Jr. (Tina) of Sherwood, Christine Mcnees (Donald Jr.) of Leonidas, Scott Truax (Luann) of Sturgis and Larry Truax (Shelly) of Noblesville; and her siblings, Geraldine Mathews, Linda Strickland, Gerald Mears (Karen), Molly Mitchell (Brad) and Howard Mears (Amy). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, many adopted grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family asks memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
