He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Decker and Margaret Decker (Snyder). He is survived by: his wife Marsha Dougherty of Leonidas; his children, Denise Bingaman (Jason) of Mendon, Brian Decker (Amy) of Leonidas and Darcee Thomas (James) of Portage; his grandchildren, Meggan, Hannah, Clay, Cole, Nate, Austin, Ben, Will, Emmet, Eathan and Ean; and his sisters, Judy Fisher (Tom) and Janet Bordner (Martin).
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Colon Food Bank, Colon Historical Society, or Three Rivers Hospice.
