Eugene Szamiel Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eugene Szamiel of Leonard, Michigan, who passed away on April 17, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Diane Fruehauf and Eugene Szamiel; and his siblings, Jozef Szamiel, Stanley Szamiel (Jackie) and Yvonne Brown.
He is survived by: his friend Eugene; his wife Janina Szamiel; his children, Anita Morawski (Jerry) and Sebastian Szamiel (Stacie); his grandchildren, Mitchel Morawski (Ashley), Nicholas Morawski, Kyleigh Szamiel, Tessa Szamiel and Scarlett Szamiel; and his great grandchild Violet Leeper. He is also survived by many extended family and dear friends.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home (11280 32 Mile Rd, Romeo, MI 48065).
