It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene John Swantek of Lenox Township, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on September 20, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Swantek and Irene Swantek (Herula); and his brother-in-law William Neely. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Neely; his sons, Ronald Swantek (Debra Swantek) of Columbus and David Swantek (Craig Swantek) of Marine City; his grandchildren, Derek Swantek (Jenna Kaatz), Brett Swantek (Brianna), Lauren Swantek (David LeMaster), Deidre Palecki (Brian), Ian Higgins (Hailee Schwamb), Emily Pedri (Bradley), Allison Patsails (Pete), Evelyn Swantek (Andrew Geiger), Anastasia Gendron (Nicholaus), Logan Swantek, Wyatt Swantek, Blake Letzgus (Nicole), Trenten Letzgus (Leah Disher), Jenna Letzgus and Drew Nofs; his great grandchildren, Luke, Lawson Swantek, Cheyenne Palecki and Easton Pedri; his brother Edwin Swantek; and his sisters-in-law, Silvana Neely and Nancy Jagels (Mark).
