He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Kent Sr. and Theo Shelp. He is survived by: his children, Toni Townsend, Janel Kenney (Shelley), Kyley Kent (Krystal) and Nick Taylor (Heather); his grandchildren, Cami, Raegan, Avery, Hadley, Laklynn and Ace; his siblings, Jane Plashek (John), Nancy Steele (Jack) and Dennis Shelp (Rebecca); and also Lori Grumley.
