She was predeceased by: her parents, Dillard Newport and Julia Newport (Human); and her husband Arthur Carlin. She is survived by: her children, Robert Carlin (Maria), Catherine Carlin, Marjorie DeClerg (Bert), Carol Lott (Robert) and Audree Baxter (Jim). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; other loving family and friends.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Shiawassee County Humane Society or Durand First United Methodist Church.
