He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Earl and Blanche West (Lawcock); his wife Dorothy Jean Gould; his son Earl West; his siblings, Merton West, Audrey Harper, Marion Luce and Beatrice Jones; and his stepbrothers, Jack, Bobby and Keith Talsma.
He is survived by: his daughters, Marcia Morris (Michael), Patricia Rutenbar (Michael), Judith West-Wing (Daniel) and Jacklyn Brazo (Jeffrey); his daughter-in-law Rebecca West; and his grandchildren, Jason Morris, Ryan Morris, Kelly Mallory, Joely O'Neal, Andrew Rutenbar, Mackenzie Watson, Riley Brazo, Alexandra Brazo, Douglas Brazo, Baleigh Brazo and Kenleigh West-Wing. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
