She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Tomasek and Mildred Tomasek. She is survived by: her husband Francis "Frank" P. LaChance; her daughters, Stephanie LaChance and Debra Tift (Pat); her grandchildren, Collin Tift, Isaac Tift, Aubrey Tift, Owen Bunting and Paili Bunting; and her siblings, Joseph Tomasek (Stephanie) and Patricia Wisniewski (Walt).

In lieu of flowers, those wishing may send donations in Barb's name to Flushing Community Schools Early Learning Literacy.
