He was predeceased by: his parents, Carr Playford and Maria Playford; and his siblings, Donna Jean Rudowske, Celeste Oram, Elmyra Hearns and Charlie Playford.
He is survived by: his wife Winona; his children, Mark Lawrence (Martha) and Penny Denis (Tom); and his siblings, Darlene Springer and Paul Playford (Barbara). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.
