He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Place and Clarence Place. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Farris; his children, Patrick (Robin) of Statesville, Andy (Cindi) of Boyne City, Betsy Phillips (Garry) of Henry, Jeanne (Bret Cone) of Linwood and Nora Morbeck (Rich) of Marietta; and his stepchildren, Debra Farris of Dunedin and Brian Farris (Debra Kelley) of Portage, Michigan.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
