He was predeceased by: his mother Sharon M. Lovely; and his stepfather Donny Carlson. He is survived by: his brothers, Michael Brightwell (Holly) and Craig Brightwell; his children, Austin Palmer and Brittany King; his granddaughter Charlotte King; his grandparents, Paul, Sharron Hudson and Wilma Brightwell; his stepmother Mary Anne Brightwell; and also Sharon Lovely. He is also survived by several cousins, aunts, and uncles.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Gift of Life Michigan.
