He is survived by: his wife Linda Burkett-Tates; his children, Carmesha Stovall, Derra A. Johnson, Chell McCaa and Kevonte Stovall; his grandchildren, Kemari Williams, Ke'Myiah and Ke'Shawn Coats; his brother Johnathan Tates (Acil); and his close friends, Dale, Dee, Bolock and Matt.
