It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bonnie Oleszkowicz of Lawrence, Michigan, who passed away on March 29, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bonnie Oleszkowicz to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Chaulklin and Hazel Chaulklin; her sisters, Sally Boyd and Patti Emmendorfer; and her granddaughter Kristen.
She is survived by: her husband Stanley; her children, Kelly Heid (Karl), Kimberly Varga, Kevin Varga, Pam Walch (Matt) and Bud Oleszkowicz (Peggy); her grandchildren, Katy, Kyle, Keri, Patrick, Matthew and Mark; and her sister Nancy. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wasik Funeral Home (49150 Schoenherr Rd, Shelby Twp, MI 48315). A prayer was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. The lying in state was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church (48115 Schoenherr Rd, Shelby Twp, MI 48315). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
