It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Ann Austin of Lawrence, Michigan, born in Howell, Michigan, who passed away on March 24, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Carpp and Lois Marjorie Carpp (Johnson); her husband Robert "Bob" Austin; her brother Robert "Bob" Carpp; and her grandson Robert "Bobby" Keith Austin.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Herring (Chris), Rod Austin (Shirley) and Sandy Nicholas (Tim); her grandchildren, Jennifer Dakin (David), Amy Adams (Ryan), John Herring, Kristi Augustine (Sheldon), Kenny Austin (Rosemary), Mark Schuelke, Aaron Schuelke, Beth Jorriy, Becky Holmes (Brian) and Kaitlyn Andries (Ben); her great grandchildren, Anna, Jordyn and Harper Dakin; her grandchildren, Natalie, Ava, Landon Adams, Nicky, Kimmy Augustine, Savannah, Spencer Austin, Raven, Aidan, Evelyn Schuelke, Shelby Jorriy, Tyler Leach, Kennedy Holmes and Lincoln Andries; and her sister Mary Critchlow. She is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Betty's name to the Lawrence United Methodist Church, Lawrence Alumni, Centrica Care Navigators (formerly known as Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan) or Alzheimer's Association.
