Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved David Edward Crowley of Laurium, Michigan, who passed away at the age of 73, on January 25, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Crowley and Helen Crowley (Bach); his sister Mary Ellen Panijan; and his stepfather Ernie Castonguay. He is survived by: his children, Megan Oburn (Ben) of Fairborn, OH, Josh Crowley (Ali Cooper) of Nutley, NJ and Mallory Wagner (Bryan) of New Allouez, MI; his siblings, Cecelia Sanders (Jim) of Yorkville, IL, Kathy Andel of Marquette, MI and Michael Crowley of Milwaukee, WI; his stepbrother Ernie Castonguay of Sterling Heights, MI; his grandchildren, Noah, Samuel Lingerfelt, Alexis Wagner, Marcella and Aeliana Cooper-Crowley; his stepgrandsons, Aiden and Brantlee Oburn; his brother-in-law Mike Panijan (Shelly Kobe); and his nieces and nephews, Brendan and Quinn. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral Home (26090 Pine St, Calumet, MI 49913). A prayer was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 7:00 PM. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul the Apostle Church (146 Tamarack St, Laurium, MI 49913).
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly.
