He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Tuovila and Lulu Tuovila; and his siblings, Bernice, Helen, Roy, Carl, Paul and Barbara.
He is survived by: his brother Jerry Tuovila (Patricia) of Laurium. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
