He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Trudy; his children, Alex Calder (Michelle) and Kristin Gavel (Steven); his granddaughters, Iris and Eleanor; and his brother John Calder (Joan). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions appreciated to Lions Club International, Lions Bear Lake Camp for the Blind, Penrickton Center for Blind Children, Leader Dogs for the Blind or Kensington Church.
