With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vernon Jones Jr. (Lapeer, Michigan), born in Adrian, Michigan, who passed away on December 10, 2018 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent Henrietta Jones. He is survived by: his parent Vernon Charles; his wife Janet Jones of Lapeer; his children, Tracy Jones of Tennessee, Debra Sannes of Tennessee, Melissa Best of Tennessee, Sherry Kendrick of Owosso and Reba Skutt (George) of Owosso; and his siblings, Alma Poley of Jackson, Rose Parks of Jackson, Olive Nodine of Evart, Cindy Lenart (Randy) of Addison, Howard Jones (Carol) of Clark Lake and Henry Jones of Adrian, Michigan. He is also survived by many many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to the family.
