He was predeceased by: his father Harry W. Smith, Jr.; and his parents-in-law, Raymond and Mary Nicholson. He is survived by: his mother Phyllis Smith, Jr. (Reed) of Oxford; his wife Karen Nicholson; his children, Jennifer Marie Smith of Lapeer and Christopher Lee Smith of Lapeer; his siblings, Jim Smith (Judy) of Imlay City, Sandy Priest of Oxford and Verlin Smith of Peck; and his siblings-in-law, Brian Nicholson (Carol) of Owosso and Brenda Nicholson of Hale. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
