He was predeceased by: his parents, William Caldwell and Beatrice Caldwell. He is survived by: his sister Deborah Solinas; his cousins, Vera Elaine Andrews, Mary Josephine Hilsinger, William Andrews and George T. Andrews; his nieces, Elizabeth, Kathryn and Kristin; and his nephew Joseph Solinas.
Memorial contributions may be made to Immaculate Conception Church or the Parkinson's Foundation.
