It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sue Mary Smith of Lapeer, Michigan, born in Owosso, Michigan, who passed away on November 25, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Barnard and Vaudrey Barnard; her sisters, Louise, Carol, Janet and Sandra; her sisters-in-law, Dorothy and Maxine Lamphier; the father of her children Duane Lamphier; and her friend Shirley Brodt.
She is survived by: her children, Laura Hopkins (Martin) of Frederic, MI, Keith Lamphier of Colorado Springs, CO and Carolyn Powell (Joe) of North Port, FL; her husband Richard Smith; her stepdaughters, Diane McKeyhan and Vicki Smith; and her grandson William Lamphier of Colorado Springs, CO. She is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Increasing COVID cases have necessitated that those attending the service bring and wear a face mask inside the funeral chapel.
