He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Roy T. Helfenbein, Elizabeth Lowe (David) and Daniel G. Helfenbein; his grandchildren, Rachel Mancuso, Jakob Lowe, Matthew Lowe, Hanna Helfenbein and Abigale Helfenbein; and his great grandchildren, Jackson and Bowie Mancuso. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
