As Robert Michael departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Robert Michael may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Robert Michael leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his siblings-in-law, Jean Pfahlert and Richard Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his son Jon (Melissa); and his in-laws, Jim Murphy of Hemlock, Mary, Dan Dymek of Bay City, Karen and Ken Keskitalo of Brighton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Transfiguration Episcopal Church (8119 M-68, Indian River, MI 49749). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Burt Lake Preservation Association, Tip of the Mitt Watershed Council or Sturgeon for Tomorrow.
