It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Elton Lilley of Lapeer, Michigan, who passed away on February 10, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Lilley and Doris Lilley (Phillips); his wife Elsie Schafer; his brother Roland Lilley; his in-laws, Ella Lilley and David Hough; and also, Ralph and Doris.
He is survived by: his children, Eric Lilley (Melinda) of Oregon, Kurt Lilley (Karen) of Beverly Hills, MI and Robb Lilley (Becky) of Alpena; his grandchildren, Courtney Stoop (Gary), Christopher, Elizabeth, Julie, Andrew and Kelcey; his great grandchildren, Lainey and Brady; and his siblings, Howard Lilley (Patricia) of Lapeer and Betty Lilley Hough of Grand Rapids. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hunters Creek Community Church (2471 Metamora Rd, Lapeer, MI 48446).
