He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Coutts and Elizabeth Coutts; his children, Joseph Buono and Robin Metzger; and his in-laws, Frank and Olga Buono.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Buono-Coutts; his children, Amy Grant (Ralph), Richard Coutts Jr., Andy Coutts (Krista), Ben Coutts (Lisa) and Frank Hardenburgh (Gayle); his grandchildren, Theresa Hargrove (Andrew), Jessica Sherman, Jamie Coutts, Olivia Coutts, Mary Coutts, Zoey Coutts, Matthew Coutts, Hannah Coutts, Frankie Hardenburgh, Nicole Felton (Daniel), Stefanie Johnson and Laura Curry; his great grandchildren, Ayden Felton, Avery Felton, Gemma Johnson, Harmony Harrington, Isabella Coutts and Georgia Coutts; and his sister-in-law Tina Maasch. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Capstick Chapel (542 Liberty St, Lapeer, MI 48446). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
