He was predeceased by: his parents, Ingeborg Kathe Rosa Elstermann (Zietlow) and Martin Elstermann; his sister Martina Prielipp; and his uncle Ingo Zietlow. He is survived by: his siblings, Michael Elstermann of Dryden, Marco Elstermann of Port Huron and Marcella Elstermann of Port Huron; his brother-in-law Daniel Prielipp; his nieces and nephews, Danielle Prielipp, Andrew Prielipp, Abigail Elstermann, Isabella Grubb and Hayden Grubb; and his aunt Ingrid Zietlow of Oxford. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
