He is survived by: his children, Jamie Medellin (Rick) of Columbiaville and Marlon Smith, Jr. of Lapeer; his grandchildren, Alexander Medellin and Brenden Medellin; and his siblings, Bob Smith (Janice), Kevin Smith (Julie), Terrie Clark (Mike), Don Smith (Diane), Dave Smith (Dawn) and Gerrie Smith (Jack Scheifflee). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
