She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Ferguson and Jacquiline Ferguson (Peoples); her husband George W. Hoover; her siblings, Carol Thacker and Michel Ferguson; and her great grandchild Simon.
She is survived by: her children, Regina Curtis (Todd) of Lapeer, Douglas Hoover (Cheryl) of Charlevoix and Dale Hoover (Dawn) of Hardin, KY; her grandchildren, Andrea, Julie, Kelli, Ashlea of Justin, EJ, Rena and Nick; her sisters, Juanita Labadie (Jerry) of Chesterfield and Deborah Ferguson (George) of Lansing; and her friend Suzanne Haxton. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
