It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leola Gibson of Lapeer, Michigan, born in Barboursville, Virginia, who passed away on September 27, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Pridemore and Thelma Pridemore (Minor); her son Donald Gibson; and her siblings, Harold Pridemore, Clarence Pridemore and Louella Story.
She is survived by: her husband Eugene Gibson; her children, Dave Gibson (Mary), Debbie Bumbalough (Terry), Dan Gibson (Suzanne) and Douglas Gibson (John); and her daughter-in-law Melinda Gibson. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren.
