He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hicks and Dorothy Hicks (Burgess); and his pet Cooter. He is survived by: his brother Craig Hicks (RuthAnn) of Lapeer; his nieces and nephews, Treg Freeland (Natashia), Ronni Griffin (Joey) and Evelyn Vinci; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Elizabeth, Catherine, Felicia, Bret, Jacob, Paige, Chandler and Bailey.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Muir Brothers Funeral Home (1021 S Lapeer Rd, Lapeer, MI 48446). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made the Vassar Church of the Nazarene.
