He is survived by: his parents, Robert Prouty and Dorothy Prouty (Jacobs) of Sterling Heights; his wife Shelly Prouty (Curley); his children, Kristina Prouty of Sterling Heights and Robert Prouty (Essence) of Saint Louis, MO; his stepdaughter Stephanie Goins (Troy) of Utica; his grandson Kyle; and his siblings, Brenda Schornak (Alan) of Oxford, Michael Prouty (Melissa) of Lapeer and Doug Prouty of Rocky Point, NC.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
