It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth McGee Kimmel of Lapeer, Michigan, who passed away on February 16, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Kimmel and Gladys Kimmel; his brother Tom Kimmel; and his sister-in-law Carol Kimmel. He is survived by: his former wives, Patricia Pitman and Sheri Nakoneczny; his children, Stephen Kimmel, Daniel Kimmel, Stephanie Kimmel, Ashley Herr (Andrew), Bridget Johnson (Randy), David Kimmel (Nikki), Joshua Nakoneczny and Matthew Nakoneczny; his grandchildren, Tessa, Karlee, Aubree, Alek, Stella, Logan, Leilah, Jaxon, Kaitlynn, Enola and Azalea; and his siblings, Jim Kimmel (Liz), Dan Kimmel and Thyra Lorimer (Mick). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Paradise Animal Rescue.
