She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Mawson and Dorothy Mawson (Bird); her daughter Deirdre "DeeDee" Bongiorno; her former husband Bill Nelson; her husband Nelson Davison; and her stepdaughter Judith Arnold.
She is survived by: her children, Brit and Vicky; her son-in-law Ricardo Bongiorno of Imlay City; her stepdaughter Joyce Humphries of Lapeer; her grandchildren, Britain Nelson, Michelle Copp, Sara Bongiorno, Tammy Walker, Kathy Martin (Jared) and Danny Morris; her sister Margaret Brice; her sister-in-law June Nelson of Brown City; her nephew Bryan; and also Don. She is also survived by Six great-grandchildren.
