It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Louise Askins of Lapeer, Michigan, born in Delaware, Ohio, who passed away on January 26, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her children, Beverly Smith and Gary Askins; her parents, Robert Gale and Faye Gale (Stockdale); and her siblings, Jerry Gale and Bill Johnson.
She is survived by: her husband Eldon Askins; her children, Cindy Kenney (Darrell) of Brighton, Diana Patton (Larry) of Freeland and Doug Askins (Michelle) of Florida; and her grandchildren, Tricia, Kimberly, Eric, Matthew, Bayley, Megan, Michelle, Ryan, Christopher, Kevin, Mark, Danny, Ben, Dennis, Steve, Jennifer, Michael, Heidi, Candice, Chad, Jessica, Douglas, Ina and Blanche. She is also survived by many many great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren.
