She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Wayne and Helen Wayne (Bush); and her brother Mark Wayne. She is survived by: her children, Dawn LaBonte (Dillon) of Lapeer and Jay Hendricks (Linda) of Forsan, TX; her stepchildren, Julie-Ann Nimbach (Tom) and Lawrence Grotts (Adalid); her grandchildren, Arielle LaBonte, Zachery Nimbach and Jesse Kanatzar; her siblings, Mike Wayne (Kathy) and Cindy Hummel (Earl); her sister-in-law Carol Wayne; and her former husband Larry Grotts.

Memorial contributions may be made to the United Way of Lapeer County, designated to fund childhood literacy programs.
