With solemn reverence, we commemorate John Thomas Sutter of Lapeer, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, whose life came to an end on February 22, 2025 at the age of 60, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Timothy Sutter, Joseph Sutter and Melanie Sutter-Taylor; his granddaughter Zoey Davis; and his nephews, Samuel Sutter and Kip Schmidt.
He is survived by: his daughters, Natera Leemaster of Bouse, AZ, Hellena LaFear of Burton, MI, Nicole Davis of Statesville, NC, Amber Martin of Columbus, OH and Anndria Terzich of Ridgecrest, CA; his grandchildren, Mark Leemaster, Beau LaFear, Lidiann LaFear, Nicolas LaFear, Lauraline Sutter, Kevin Davis and Henly Davis; his siblings, Delain McMannemy (Michael) of Roseville, MI, Amy McKeown (Stanley) of Lapeer, MI and Charles Sutter of Lapeer, MI; and his uncle Albert Gaskill (Bergette) of Richmond, MI. He is also survived by many friends, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Capstick Chapel (542 Liberty St, Lapeer, MI 48446). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Michigan Humane Society.
