She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald Broecker; her parents, George Schroeder and Betty Schroeder; her stepfather Donald Pierson; her siblings, Jerry, Ronald, Wayne, Sharon and Diane Schroeder; and her sons-in-law, David Fick and William Wood.
She is survived by: her children, Beverly Fick, Kevin Broecker (Corinne), Sue Wood, Dan Broecker (Susan), Gerald Broecker Jr. (Therese) and Kathy Baharozian (Richard); her grandchildren, Shelly Anderson, Dava Arthur, David Fick II (Christy), Corey Grier (Quinten), Jeremy Broecker (Rae), Andrea Broecker (Tony McDonald), Joshua Broecker, Maria Broecker, Rachael Robertson (Matthew), Amanda Ferguson, Eric Jasper and Mary Heinzerling (Eric); her sisters, Joyce Tripp and Marilyn Coulter (Tim); and her siblings-in-law, Lloyd Broecker (Jane) and Grace Stewart (Walter). She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Capstick Chapel (542 Liberty St, Lapeer, MI 48446). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (90 Millville Rd, Lapeer, MI 48446).
