He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Holbert and Nina Holbert (Franklin); his wife Edna Bettman; his son Edward; and his brothers, Bill and Jerry.
He is survived by: his son Christopher Holbert (Claudine) of Clay Township; his grandchildren, Neil, Dallas and Shelly; and his sister Ann Poronto of Shelby Township. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
