Edward Phillips Oyster Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edward Phillips Oyster of Lapeer, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 10, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy Oyster and Isabelle Oyster (Phillips); and his wife Bonnie Abbott. He is survived by: his sons, Gary Oyster (Jan) of Lapeer, Samuel of Lapeer and Michael Oyster (Beth) of Lapeer; and his grandchildren, Ferne, Debi (Mark), Karrie, Jeoff, Jacquie (Mike), Morgan (Adam), Brandon and Nathan. He is also survived by six great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hunters Creek Community Church (2471 Metamora Rd, Lapeer, MI 48446).
